Day 37: June 22
I did not sleep well last night. I'm not exactly sure why, but I only slept for about 2.5 hours. Before you say anything, I tried my hardest to fall back asleep but it just wasn't happening. So might as well start my day at 1:30 AM!
I lounged around the house a bit reading Emotional Intelligence 2.0 before heading to the gym at 3 AM. As I rounded the corner to enter the gym, I could see a guy on the chest press machine. After walking in, another guy came around the corner and went to do pull-ups. Pretty shocking to see two people at this hour. Occasionally doctors or out-of-town businessmen will also be here at off hours, but more often not.
Nonetheless, I skipped rope for a few minutes and did some warm-up squats. After a thorough warm-up, I bench pressed and did weighted dips. My left shoulder seemed slightly off, but it wasn't too big of an inconvenience.
It was nice to have some company in the gym. Let's me know that others are here with me, working towards similar goals. Hopefully I see them in there again tomorrow.
